Simeon took the baby Jesus and said, “Lord, let your servant depart in peace… for my eyes have seen your salvation.”   With Christ’s coming

, his life was fulfilled and he could even face his death in peace.  So it is to be for us heading into 2017.   Our lives are fulfilled because Jesus has come among and in us.  Beholding his light and salvation, we can be at peace.
