Violence Again

Violence again.   Rage pouring through a sniper rifle at our police officers.  More wounded, many weeping.   Trust undermined.   Suspicions raised.  At most worship times we sing, “For the peace of the whole world, for the well-being of the Church of God and for the unity of all, let us pray to the Lord … Lord have mercy.”   At times we can miss connecting with these profound words but not now.  Now let us pray them during the week.
