Ascension’s book and Podcast club, “Faith Seeking Understanding,” will discuss Matthew Desmond’s book “Poverty, By America.”  Desmond won the Pulitzer Prize for his book “Evicted” on the affordable housing crisis.  This book takes a broader look at why we have so much poverty in America and what we can do about it.  We’ll discuss chapters 1-6 on July 24 and chapters 7-9 on August 28.  7:30 in the library or via zoom:  https://us02web.zoom.us/j/8673682609  Questions?  ask Pastor Daniel.  All are Welcome!
