Sermon: Marked as God’s Own Rev 13
In Chapter 13, Revelation gives us the dragon, the two terrible beasts and the number 666. These were images for Satan and Roman rule which was persecuting the church. As much as some things have changed today, there is still plenty of terrible strange and evil figures in our world. The purpose […]

Sealed to Stand
Pastor Daniel’s sermon for August 20, 2017 When horses ride and threaten not just our livelihood or lives but threaten who we are, sealed by God we stand confident that we are still our most authentic selves – loved by God. Sermon: Hope in the Lord having the Keys from Revelation 1
John of Patmos wrote Christians who were facing sufferings mostly from Roman persecution. These new Christians likely had hoped that following Jesus would give them some benefit in their lives. But they found it was getting worse. John gave them this look into the spiritual world or what we call a revelation […]

Revelation Preaching Series Begins
Pastor Daniel and I are doing a preaching series on the book of Revelation beginning this Sunday, July 30. This strange and often confusing book was trying to help sorely tried Christians have hope and remain faithful. We could use hope and faithfulness still today. Pr. Dan
