Thank you Ascension Lutheran Church and our neighbors who donated to this year’s Blessing of the Backpack! With your generous donations, over 70 backpacks were donated, 24 families and 46 children were helped with school supplies! Families truly felt blessed. This blessing extended to the Audubon Elementary School when Secretary, Kathleen Forbes picked up the rest of the supplies last week. If you are interested in helping out the families of the CLC and Audubon throughout the year, following supplies are always in high demand: #2 pencils, composition notebooks or small, plastic school supply boxes. Drop off supplies at Ascension’s main and we’ll get them to the places of need.
