Mission Impossible

This faith of ours is rooted in grace. But the response to that
grace, the calling of God is big. Jesus doesn’t ask the disciples to
give up a couple hours a week, he asks them to let the truth of the
resurrection change their whole lives, and through them change the whole
world. And God asks the same thing of us. And we, knowing full well
that our history on such efforts is less than inspiring, we say sure.
We’re in. We can do that.
Why? What makes us so bold? What makes us so courageous/crazy? Well, I
think it’s because we’re in love.
