Sermon: Joy, Freedom and Peace Coming Is 9

Israel was destroyed by Assyria.  It was this reality that was behind Isaiah’s words, “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light.”    To be human is to know some level of darkness from the losses, brokenness and evil of our world.   The promise to those devastated in Israel was that God’s great light would shine and they would know joy, freedom and peace.   That is for you as well.  Follow the links and listen in to hear about how that works.   Pr.
