At Ascension Lutheran, it’s been a week of sharing with the community…from right across the street to across the miles, we’ve been working hard to bring Christmas cheer to many in need…
- The Youth Group collected dozens of Christmas gifts for Audubon Elementary students who might otherwise not get one
- Members donated 95 Christmas gifts to brighten the holiday for children sponsored by One Nation Working Together — that’s a new record!
- A group of elementary school children hit the aisles at Costco with a Thrivent grant to stock up the food shelf at Audubon Elementary for families in need before the Christmas break.
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness cannot overcome it…
