Upcoming Fall Happenings @ Ascension

Our church community is preparing for a fall filled with fellowship, worship, and spiritual growth. This autumn, we have a variety of exciting events and opportunities designed to bring us closer together and deepen our faith. Whether you’re a long-time member, new to our congregation, or interested in learning more, there’s something for everyone. From inspiring sermons to community outreach programs, and special gatherings, we invite you to join us! Here’s a look at some of what’s happening this fall at our church!

Fall Worship Schedule & Sunday School Kick-off

Starting September 8, we will resume our fall worship schedule with two services at 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM, along with an educational hour at 9:15 AM.

The B-I-B-L-E (That’s The Book For Us): Join us for Community Hour in the lower level in between services at 9:15am to kick off the Sunday School year. The theme is all about the Bible—everyone is welcome! Join us for fun activities, learning, and more!

• 8am: Worship
• 9:15am: Community Hour for All Ages!
• 10:30am: Worship

Middle School Opportunities

Middle School Pizza Party! On Sunday August 25, following the worship service at 10:30am, we’ll kick off the year with a pizza party. Come and enjoy some delicious pizza and fun activities!

Wednesday Middle School Youth Group! On Wednesday, August 28, at 7 PM at Ascension, middle school youth and their parents/guardians are invited to gather, and look at the year ahead! The first three Wednesdays of each month, Middle School youth from Ascension and Christ the King will have a youth group night from 6:30pm–8pm, complete with food, activities, learning, service projects and more! Mark your calendars for Wednesday September 4 at Ascension for our first Middle School Youth Group!
