1/15/2017 Jesus Righting What’s Wrong Lk 4

Today, we have Jesus’ first words in Luke’s Gospel.   They come from Isaiah 61.  Jesus read those words about God’s Spirit’s desire to right what was wrong and said it was fulfilled in him.   We still look for this in Jesus:  release for what holds us captive, sight when we are blind and freedom from what holds us captive.    Listen for how that can work.
