Handel’s Messiah

Come join us for an unforgettable presentation of G. F. Handel’s masterpiece Messiah, the most famous and beloved oratorio ever written that includes the brilliant Hallelujah chorus! Listen and sing along with our choir on the Hallelujah Chorus. Sunday, December 15, 2024 at the 8:00 am and 10:30 am services.

Since its debut in 1742, G.F. Handel’s Messiah has become the most famous oratorio ever composed about the greatest story ever told. Beginning with Prophecies fortelling the birth of Jesus and continuing through His passion and resurrection, the musical reflection on the life of Christ features such timeless solo arias as “I Know That My Redeemer Liveth” and such popular choruses as “For Unto Us A Child Is Born” and the “Hallelujah” chorus. The Ascension Choir and Orchestra will present the Christmas portion along with soloists and orchestra.Come join us for an unforgettable presentation of G. F.
